Metal Cat Bikes

Winter finally made it back to the mountains, and so did a couple bros from the homeland.

It was a good few days of skiing with those dudes.

Nothing too gnarly- because I’m still about as comfortable on snow as a cat is in a bathtub.

But we finally did that thing that everybody in Carbondale talks about, all the time (“Oh man, did a bowl lap today. So good up there.” “Oh nice, I hit two bowl laps yesterday, totally fresh tracks man.” “Hey, that’s great. I did a quick couple bowl laps last night without batteries in my headlamp, wearing flipflops and dragging a sled full of racoons”).

Cool up there, but not quite as hard as I was expecting. Guess I listened to too many barstool adventures.
