I’ve just started to realize how many sweet, hardly-used trails are around here. They’re not groomed, IMBA spec bulldozer wide, or properly drained. So they’re pretty much perfect.
I’m trying to get out and ride as many of them as I can. There’s a lot of riding to do.

Hideous tasting rice cereal stuff. Colleen is gluten challenged- if anybody knows what the glutenless equivalent of instant oatmeal is, I’d love to hear. We haven’t been able to find anything close to as cheap, tasty, and convenient.
First time I’ve set up the tarp with wheels. Worked really well- tight for two, but probably fine if you’re marrying the other person in a couple weeks.

Plenty of clearance for a 29×3.0 Chronicle.

And an adjustable spring rate, which helps to keep the fork riding high in its travel, especially when the bike is loaded with bags and stuff. So far, one of the best forks I’ve been on. And it’s assembled 90 miles away, in the Grand Junktown. Buy local brah.
